Perhaps you have made money from your blog and want to create a website specifically designed to help you make more.  Or maybe you're sick and tired of the need to provide regular fresh content and want to try a less pressured platform.

A website will help your brand to look professional and the content can be presented in a way that's streamlined and informative.

Looking to Attract Consumers

If you're looking to attract consumers in a more focused way, think of your website as a handy roadmap telling your audience what you have to offer.

To get started, you need to search for a domain name.

A domain is like an address to your real estate property.

There are hundreds of top level domains available from country specific to general ones.

Building Your Brand

If you're building an online brand that's built around you and your skills, it might be wise to choose a personal domain.  This puts you in the spotlight and will let potential visitors know that you're a professional.

I personally recommend Namecheap due to ease of use, simplicity, and price.

Once you've landed on a name that fits, head over to Namecheap to find if it's available.

You may find that you have to change to a dotcom, dotorg, dotme, etc. And if your name choice is a popular one, you will find a high price tag attached to it.  Therefore, I recommend focusing on your personal name.

Congratulations, you're on your way to a website!!

Next, you will need to consider a hosting plan.  Look at this as a space to house your website.

There are lots of different hosting plans, so choose one according to your needs.

I personally use Namecheap, for both domain name and hosting, as you can save when you bundle and it's easier to have it in one place.

I recommend Namecheap and I am an affiliate.

Namecheap offers all-in-one-packages, consisting of everything you need to make a website.

Saving You Money

There are lots of totally free domains and discount packages to save you money.

Be sure to do your research, take your time, and be focused on your desired outcome.

Happy Housing!!

Disclosure: Some of the links in this blog are affiliate links, and if you go through them to make a purchase, I will earn a commission. Keep in mind that I link these companies, products, and courses because of their quality and not because I earn a commission. The decision is completely in your hands.
